Our flagship programme
The Bridge Programme
The Bridge Programme—Beyond Mentorship’s Flagship inaugural program—is a 12-weekend, fully funded programme for students in the pre-final and final year of their undergraduate studies. The programme aims to provide one-stop access to post-university transition, skill enhancement, and mentorship to the selected students.
The Bridge Programme is founded on a 3-Bridge approach:

Bridge the post-university
transition
This component will focus on equipping students with relevant post-university skills keeping in mind their goals. This will include the following:
- Access to post-university opportunities and application procedures.
- Workshops on job readiness; resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, and LinkedIn optimisation.
- Workshops on SOP (Statement of Purpose) writing and the importance of LORs (Letter of Recommendations).
- Relevant professional skill-building workshops on tools and technologies such as MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Bridge the skill-gap and provide a multidisciplinary perspective
This component will seek to inculcate a multidisciplinary perspective and enhance the leadership skills of the students by providing:
- Access to speaker series and high-quality workshops on critical writing, effective communication, design thinking, and problem-solving.
- Access to a diverse peer and mentor network to promote the exchange of multiple perspectives and peer learning.
- The power of seemingly irrelevant conversations—conversations with people from different backgrounds that seem irrelevant during the moment but have a greater impact when viewed in retrospect.

The Bridge Mentor approach; two-tier mentorship structure
This is a unique one-of-a-kind, two-tier mentorship structure which will provide students with 2 mentors: one industry expert and one Bridge Mentor—a recent professional in their field.
- The purpose of the Bridge Mentor is to help the student prepare for conversations with their primary mentor and to be available to support with the basics of email and resume writing. A bridge mentor is an accessible resource for the student, to prepare him/her to make the most of the programme.
- The Bridge Mentor will connect with the student every week to discuss, ideate, and navigate challenges after each weekend session.
- The industry expert will meet the students at least once a month and whenever necessary to provide industry exposure and insights.
